Our high school students are engaged in a variety of classes designed to
give them a well-rounded, college-prep education. Students take four
years of English, Bible and Math; three years of Science and History;
two years of a foreign language (Spanish or French) and one year of
Computer, Physical Education/Health and Fine Arts. There are a number
of electives students can take ranging from multiple years of Fine Arts
(Art, Performing Arts and Band), Drafting, Anatomy, Broadcast Journalism, Physiology, etc. CCS
also offers numerous Advanced Placement courses, where students can earn
college credit. We also allow Juniors and Seniors to take college
courses at a local university for dual credit.
Our high school
students take a number of standardized tests. Each grade takes the
Terra Nova III test. Our Sophomores take the PLAN test (the precursor
to the ACT). Our Juniors take the PSAT and the ASVAB.
CCS
graduates are accepted and attend colleges all over the United States. Some of the colleges and
universities our students have attended include: University of
Kentucky, University of Louisville, University of Cincinnati, Cedarville
University, West Point Military Academy, Purdue University, Northern
Kentucky University, Vanderbilt University, Liberty University, The
Master's College, Eastern Kentucky University, The Art Institute of
Ohio, Miami University, Ball State University, Baptist Bible College, and many others.
