The CCS Elementary division consists of Grades K5 - 6. The core subjects include Bible, Mathematics, English Language Arts, Science and History. The elementary division is under the direction of Mrs. Tonya Burns.

Calvary elementary students are engaged in activities designed to cultivate their spiritual, cognitive, physical and social development. These co-curricular activities are developmentally-appropriate and individualized, striving to prepare your child to impact the world for Christ.

What type of activities will your child experience at CCS? To encourage cognitive development, our students are challenged in a variety of classes, including their core content classes as well as special classes including PE, music, technology, art and library. This wide variety of classes encourages experimental learning and individualized instruction. Our smaller class sizes ensure your child gets the attention he or she deserves. Your child may also participate in a variety of curricular activities, including Accelerated Reader, Academic Clubs, Lego Robotics, Odyssey of the Mind, Sixth Grade Cougar Council and foreign language instruction through Spanish classes.

Academics isn't the only thing that Calvary strives toward. Integrated in every class and activity at CCS, is a concentrated aim to build young men and women of strong character. Christian character is emphasized through our character education program, which focuses on monthly character traits. Students can take part in a variety of character related activities and service projects both in and out of the classroom. Our graduating sixth graders not only can prove their academic performance, but have grown into young men and women of integrity.

Weekly chapel services and Bible classes provide opportunities for students to be instructed and challenged to study, learn and obey God’s Word. The Bible is practical and applicable in every facet of life. Our students are taught and reminded that obedience to God’s Word is the key to God’s blessings.

Christianity is alive to our students; it's not just Bible classes and chapels. We strive to encourage our students to excel in academics as well as having a personal, living relationship with Jesus Christ.
